Peach - A look into the film

The Peach film is a collaborative film project that has been through many stages of development and production for most of my 3rd Year in University. The project has been created by team of around 20+ students who have been working on concepts, models, rigs, animations, lighting and environments.

I was one of the modellers for the Peach film and had the privileged to be able to design, model and texture the girl within the film. Her name is Akiko.

Below is the final concept design i created of the girl after a lot of research and character development as well as taking critical feedback from the directors.

And here is the final 3D model of her! I am pleased that her 2D appearance was easily conveyed into a 3D form.

I was also able to work on the watercolour styled digital drawings that were featured in the end credits of the film. I kept a cartoony style to match the characters designs within the film, slightly upgrading the monkey to show his powerful form after he ate the peach.
